Its forgiving pickup provides a natural sound when you're recording indoors, and it reduces peripheral sounds to capture the audio in front of the camera. This lightweight directional mic is finished with RØDE's ceramic anti-glare black coating, and the body is made from aluminium to reject RF interference. This mic requires no batteries, since it's powered by the camera once plugged in.
This compact on-camera mic comes with a camera shoe that has a Rycote Lyre shock mount and a thermoplastic suspension structure designed to minimise vibrations and noise from handling and cables. This shock mount is guaranteed not to sag, snap, wear out or need rethreading. Also included is a WS9 synthetic furry wind shield with a foam inner cell to prevent wind and environmental noise from ruining audio recordings in outdoor environments.
