TAO 1mini is the latest signal node to a new level for advanced use cases, not only for encoder, but also decoder.
It expands the connectivity in a single unit including HDMI 2.0 and UVC IN & OUT, but also ethernet I/O. With HDMI 2.0 and UVC inputs for a 4K encoding and multi-protocol streaming by ethernet outputs. Vise versa, as a 4K decoder from ethernet inputs to HDMI 2.0 and UVC output.
It comes with higher streaming bitrates; file recording; and much more. This device is ideal for high-quality live streaming of content including sports, education, and live events as well as IP-based production and AV-over-IP.
The single-channel TAO 1mini can encode one live input source - either HDMI or UVC - or mix video from the HDMI and UVC inputs (picture-in-picture or side-by-side) into a combined output. Up to eight user-configurable overlays - including text, images, and a clock - can be applied to the output profile.
Flexible Formats and Protocols
TAO 1mini supports multiple video encoding formats - including H.264, H.265 (HEVC), NDI®|HX 2, NDI®|HX 3 and full NDI®- and a wide array of delivery protocols including RTMP, RTMPS, SRT, RTSP, RTP, HLS. Up to eight channels of audio can be encoded in AAC format.
