This Mono M80 Vertigo electric guitar case represents a lightweight yet sturdy option for contemporary guitar players. The award-winning top-load design unzips in just a second or two, and the case naturally opens to the right so there's no need to lay the guitar case on the floor. A special hinge makes this case open diagonally using gravity as a guide, thereby reducing the work you have to do to extricate your guitar.
The exclusive Headlock system keeps the neck elevated and locked in place so the guitar doesn't shift around while in the case. When you zip the case shut, the top part of the Headlock system clamps down on top of it. The rubber boot keeps the case upright and prevents it from slipping over when you set this case vertically on the ground. The rubber boot acts as an anti-slip grip much in the same way the sole of a shoe works.
The outer shell contains water-resistant materials that protect your investment from moisture. Interior accessory compartments store picks, extra strings and amp cables. At just 2.72 kg, this case is 75 percent lighter than most traditional hardshell cases.
