The DJM-S11 is the next step in Pioneer's battle-focus DJ mixer line-up. This pro-level 2-channel, 4-deck mixer builds on it's predecessor with upgrades to certain aspects, along with a swathe of new features that will set you up for even better performance with either rekordbox or Serato DJ Pro.
With a 4.3 inch, customisable touch screen at it's centre, the SDJ-11 gives you all the information you need at quick glance. Check waveforms, playback positions, browse tracks and more quickly, allowing you to get on with what's most important - your mix! The screen also allows you to interact dynamically with FX and trigger certain parameters in your DJ software with Touch MIDI.
The DJM-S11 allows you to play up to four tracks simultaneously with Deck 3/4 Control. You can use the touchscreen to select these additional decks, load up new tracks, change settings on EQ, hot-cues, loops and more. On top of that, if you're using Serato DJ Pro, the Deck Move function means you can move tracks from 1 to 4 and deck 2 to 3 without a break in the music. And you can also utilise Dual Deck control to have a single knob, fader or piece control vinyl manipulate tracks on decks 1 and 3 or 2 and 4. Allowing you to scratch, add effects or adjust volume to multiple tracks simultaneously.
The S11's performance pads have been upgraded from previous models, now slightly larger and the Magvel Fader Pro now has more stability for greater confidence when scratching. Other new additions include the new Smooth Echo effect, which can to you can automatically engage when you hit pads that set up as triggers or move faders. There's also been an upgrade to sound quality so that clear output captures all the nuance of your performance.
No matter your set-up, the S11 is designed to play the way you want. The internal USB-hub means connecting to CDJs and DDJ-XP2 is simple. You can also get mixing straight out of the box with either Serato DJ Pro or rekordbox software. You don't need extra license keys, just plug in and get going. All the faders, knobs and buttons are MIDI mappable, so if you want to take advantage of another piece of DJ software you can.
