Product Information

BigAmp Piezo is a small sized high-quality FET instrument preamp which performs equally well on stage as it does in a studio environment. It is specially designed for piezo transducers and has a 7.5 mega ohm input impedance, which enables the transducer to deliver its full potential.

Signal amplification is low (3dB) to allow for the highest possible headroom. Because of its small size BigAmp Piezo can be connected as close to the transducer as possible which keeps cable capacitance to a minimum. An extra benefit might be BigAmps small size, making it super portable.

Stick your BigAmp Piezo on an XLR cable, plug in your electric guitar, bass (or any other instrument with a jack output) and switch on phantom power. BigAmp Piezo goes directly into a balanced input of a preamp or interface.

To achieve the best sonic result, it is advised to use a short TS/Jack cable between BigAmp and your instrument.

BigAmp Piezo utilises a low noise FET amplifier circuit, followed by a low impedance, balanced buffer which reveals every detail with pinpoint accuracy and offers high-end sound quality
