The Radial Hot Shot DM-1 is a combination microphone signal splitter and mute switch that allows the vocalist to depress a footswitch to mute his mic and redirect the signal to the monitoring system and/or intercom. This 100% passive floor-box is equipped with XLR mic input, momentary footswitch, direct and switched XLR outputs.
The direct output (OUTPUT A) connects to the PA system as usual. The switched output (OUTPUT B) connects to a spare channel on the monitor console. When the footswitch is depressed, the Hot Shot switches the mic signal to OUTPUT B and allows a vocalist to use their mic for confidential communication through stage monitors, in-ear systems and intercom systems. When the footswitch is released, normal operation resumes. Compact and plug & play easy to use.
The Radial the HotShot DM-1 is made from 14 gauge steel for durability and is finished in a tough black enamel coat.
